Your journey begins with boarding your transpacific flight to Beijing. Set your watch a day ahead as you cross the international dateline.
Day 2 BEIJING
Welcome to Beijing, the political and cultural centre of the world's most populous nation. You will be met by your friendly guide and transferred to the impressive 5-star Beijing International Hotel.

Visit Tian An Men Square, the largest public plaza in the world. Tour the Forbidden City, which houses numerous priceless treasures. Two-dozen emperors lived here from the 15th to the early 20th century. Also visit the beautiful Summer Palace. A Peking Opera Performance is scheduled in the evening.

Day 4 BEIJING
On a daylong excursion, you will walk the mighty Great Wall and tour the ancient Ming Tombs. Enjoy a special Peking Duck Dinner.

Day 5 BEIJING
Enjoy a half-day Hutong Tour by tricycle through the ancient residential areas. Return to your hotel in the late afternoon for free time to shop or relax. Dinner is on your own. We suggest that you have an authentic Chinese meal near the hotel, eat at a local noodle house, or have a western dinner at the hotel. Costs are nominal; a normal meal costs approximately USD 5 to 10 per person.

Today is a free day for you to explore the city or shop. Major sights and the Wang Fu Jing shopping street are within walking distance from your hotel. We also suggest you take a walk through the interesting Xiushui Silk Market where you can take advantage of super bargains.

Visit the Temple of Heaven in the morning and later transfer to the airport to take a flight to Xian. Arrive and transfer to the 4-star Aurum International Hotel.

Day 8 XIAN
In 1974, while digging a well, a farmer uncovered what turned out to be a major archaeological discovery of the 20th century; the Tomb of Emperor Qin Shi Huang guarded by the Terra Cotta Warriors. Marvel at the statues of warriors and horses in battle formation, guarding the emperor and his precious treasures. In the afternoon, visit the ancient City Wall. Enjoy a Dinner with Four Kinds of Dumplings and the Tang Dynasty Show.

Visit the Grand Mosque, which has incorporated a lot of traditional Chinese architectural characteristics with a symmetrical layout and also visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Later transfer to the airport to fly to Guilin. Arrive and transfer to the 4-star Guanguang Plaza Hotel. Enjoy a buffet dinner.

Enjoy a boat ride on the Li River, marvel at the unusual needle-like limestone hills surrounded by lush tropical growth. Arrive in Yangshuo in the afternoon, and stroll around in the free markets. Enjoy the amazing Impression Liusanjie Show.

Visit the mysterious Reed Flute Cave, Fubo Hill and Elephant Trunk Hill. Transfer to the airport and fly to Chongqing. Arrive and transfer to the 4-star Holiday Inn Hotel.
(B/L/D)Day 12 DAZU Day Trip - Preboard Cruiser
This morning, take the coach to the stone carvings of Dazu. Large numbers of cliffside-cut sculptures were created in Dazu County when grotto art was declining in the northern part of China and along the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze. In Dazu, there are about 100,000 statues scattered over 70 places. According to the stone inscriptions, Dazu Rock Sculptures began to be chiseled in 650BC. Afterwards pre-board the 5-star
East King.

Set sail in the early morning, absorbing the spectacular sights on the
Yangtze and appreciating its rich history and beauty. Depending on water and
weather conditions, today's shore excursion is a visit to Fengdu "the Ghost
City" or Shibaozhai, home to a 12 storey red wooden pavilion built against a
protruding 220 meter rectangular rock with sheer cliffs on the north bank.
Enjoy a Captain's Dinner and Folkloric Performance in the evening.

Day 14 THREE GORGES
In the early morning, admire breathtaking sights of the narrow cliff walls and dramatic vistas in the Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge. After lunch, take a small boat to enjoy a shore excursion to the scenic Shennong Stream, a natural habitat of mandarin ducks and golden hair monkeys. Hanging Coffins can also be spotted on the high surrounding cliffs. In the late afternoon, pass through the Xiling Gorge.

Arrive in Yichang at 11:00 am. Visit the Three Gorges Dam Site. Transfer to the airport and flight to Shanghai. Arrive and transfer by bus to Suzhou, the "Venice of the East". Stay at the 4-star Castle Hotel.

Today enjoy a leisurely Grand Canal boat cruise, a visit to the Master of Nets Garden and a Silk Factory.

Today tour the Tiger Hill and the Embroidery Institute. Take an afternoon train to Hangzhou. Stay at the 4-star Holiday Inn Hotel.

Hangzhou is a romantic city with charm and tranquility. Relax on a cruise on the serene waters of the West Lake, which mirror the surrounding landscape. Visit the Lingyin Temple and the Dragon Well Longjing Tea Plantation where you can sip a cup of delicious green tea. Also visit the Six Harmony Pagoda.
